Sahathai Terminal Joins Hands to Support Soldiers and Border Communities

Samut Prakan, July 30, 2025 – Sahathai Terminal and its affiliated companies joined forces with Mr. Anon Buranapakdee, District Chief of Phra Pradaeng, to deliver essential supplies to soldiers and residents living along Thailand’s border areas. The initiative underscores the company’s strong commitment to corporate social responsibility and its mission to stand beside the community in times of need.

Corporate-Community Collaboration

The donation ceremony was held in front of a local coordination point, with representatives from Sahathai Terminal, Michelin (Phra Pradaeng), and other private-sector partners joining district officials. The event reflected an exemplary partnership between government agencies, businesses, and local organizations. Together, they mobilized resources to provide much-needed relief to frontline soldiers and villagers in remote areas.

Supplies for Soldiers and Villagers

The donated items included food, drinking water, survival kits, and other daily necessities. These supplies are intended to ease the difficulties faced by soldiers stationed at the border and to assist local villagers who are often affected by limited access to basic goods.

Mr. Anon emphasized that the donations would be distributed directly to those in need, ensuring that both military personnel and local communities receive timely support.

Sahathai’s Commitment to Society

Sahathai Terminal has long been active in community development and welfare programs. Beyond its logistics and terminal operations, the company has consistently contributed to social causes such as education, health, and disaster relief.

“This activity is part of our continuous mission to give back to society. We want to ensure that our soldiers, who safeguard the nation, and villagers along the border, who endure hardships, feel supported and cared for,” said a Sahathai spokesperson during the event.

Private Sector Standing Together

Michelin (Phra Pradaeng) and other business allies also expressed their pride in participating. Their support highlights how corporate players across industries can come together to create meaningful impact. The collaboration not only strengthens the welfare of those directly affected but also reinforces solidarity across Thai society.
